If you’re reading this, chances are you’re quite stuck, wondering if there’s really something out there for you, and sometimes you just wish there was a life guide handed over with instructions to navigate life that you could just check at paragraph “wtf am I supposed to do with this gift”. In other words, how to fins your soul purpose in life.
Close enough? Trust me, I’ve been there.
Finding your soul purpose involves deep self-reflection, understanding your passions, and aligning your actions with your true calling. I’ve walked this road and found my purpose as an ethical copywriter for coaches, healers, and sustainable businesses. I’d love to tell you it was easy, but no girlie, it was hard AF. But it was worth the struggle, because today I can finally say, I found my soul purpose.
Your soul purpose is the core reason for your existence, the unique contribution you are meant to make in the world. In other words, it’s what fires you up, what you could do without necessarily being paid. It’s a cute little bubble that includes your passions, values, and talents, guiding you toward actions and roles that resonate with your true self. Understanding and living in alignment with your soul purpose will bring immense satisfaction, direction, and a sense of fulfillment.
There is a Japanese term that sums this up perfectly – which is Ikigai. According to our Japanese friends, Ikigai is the intersection between what you love doing, what the world needs, and what you could be paid for. There are thousands of websites that help you find your Ikigai, but I wrote an article about it on Finding Healers, that explains this even further, I will link it later in this article.
My journey to discovering my soul purpose began with a deep desire to make a positive impact. I explored quite a few roles, but it wasn’t until I combined my passion for writing with my commitment to ethical practices and sustainability that I found my true calling: helping those who help others. As an ethical copywriter, I now help coaches, healers, and sustainable businesses communicate their values and mission, showing up on Google and triggering a rippling effect of impact. All while aligning my professional skills with my personal beliefs. This alignment has not only brought me professional success but also a profound sense of purpose. In this Interview with Bold Journey I talk about how finding my soul purpose was not a straight line, but a 2 years long trial and error (and several breakdowns).
