What is Chō and why its founder, Christina Bati was looking for a Sustainability Copywriter?
Chō is a sustainable vegan silkware brand based in Dubai, offering bedding sets and accessories made of Cupro, a material derived from cotton linters.
Their motto is “Vegan Silkware that Blends Elegance with Earth-Friendly Luxury”. Crafted with ecological responsibility in mind and employing circular textile practices, each piece reflects their unwavering commitment to zero-waste production.
What made Christina realize she needed help from a strategic sustainability copywriter to work on her ecommerce brand, Chō?
Christina DIYed her website design and created some copywriting with ChatGPT, but she felt the copy was not giving justice to her vision for her brand, Chō.
She had her Shopify up and filled with a little AI-generated content, which was not properly taking to the right audience and conveying the benefits of her vegan silkware.
That’s why she decided to look for a sustainability copywriter for Chō, her e-commerce and its brand catalogue.

How did I fit in as the new sustainability copywriter for Chō?
Christina contacted me for a discovery call and we clicked instantly. I was truly inspired by the drive and passion behind Chō and her vision for the brand.
Everything started with the copywriting for her company catalogue. She had her brand strategy and brand voice ready, so I was happy to start from the following step: copy drafting.
Once the company catalogue was approved and printed, I teamed up with Melissa from Copyrising Studio, who took care of the product page copy. Christina needed help with creative direction for the name of the collection of her bedding sets, each evoking a unique emotion and healing power. The goal was to convey that each color has a different effect on a restful night’s sleep.
